Wow, I’ve not really done much here in about a week.  I apologize for the lack of an update, I had planned on writing one sooner, but I got sick and didn’t much feel like it.

My Christmas was a good one.  The whole family came,  making my house a very very full one.  It was nice to have everyone together in one place, though,  and I think we all had a good time.  The saturday before Christmas we all went down to Bloomington to Mark and Beth’s house to have dinner down there.  It was a really fun time, and there was a lot of good food to be had.  Sunday we all came back to Indy,   where last minute present wrapping was done.  We went to midnight mass that night.   Christmas day was good too.  Everyone seemed to like the presents I got them.  I’m glad.

I got a few dvd’s,   a lot of clothes, a bar of “Man Soap”, and some gift cards.  As might come as a surprise, I actually liked all of the clothes I got.  Sweet.

I have figured out the financial aspect of buying a house,  so now I just need to actually find one that is in my price range , in an area that is acceptable to me, and that I like.   Easier said than done, I’m sure.

New years was a good one,   I spent it with Ann.  We had a good time, and I’m glad I got to spend new years with her.   I did, however, end up getting sick around 430 in the morning new years day,   throwing up.   I got sick again about 45 minutes later.  yuck.    I woke up feeling terrible,  and went to the doctor.  Ann went with me (isn’t she such a nice girlfriend?).  After waiting for what seemed like forever I finally got to see a doctor,  who told me my back hurt because i must have strained it lifting weights ( I still think that’s a load of bullshit.  I know what DOMS, or delayed onset muscle soreness, is like.  I’ve had it before.)  and that i must have just irritated my stomach somehow.  He gave me vicodin for the back pain and some other medicine for the nausea.  BOTH make you drowsy.  I took them when I got home from the doc’s office, and promptly passed out into a drug induced coma.   I didn’t wake up until around 930pm.

Yesterday I tried coming to work,  but that didn’t last long.   I went back home and slept, with only a few brief periods of wakefullness.   I feel much better today having done that.
There’s another post coming soon, but this is all for now.
